Has the NRMP come out with the 2012 "Residency outcomes" report that they normally provide? I saw that they have one for 2011, but I'm not sure if that's for the 2012 match or if that's for the older match.

Anyone know?

You mean this one?

Incidentally, Figure 1 should scare the s*** out of any borderline candidates. There were >38K applicants for 24K positions which means that fully 1/3 of applicants didn't match. Also, the IMG match rate (US and non-US alike) is ~50%. It's never exactly been stellar but it's kind of sucky now.

No, I mean the one that shows the # of continuous ranks, who got what on step 1/2, # of activities, etc. I saw those, and it's none of those.

I think that's the one they only put out every two years or so. Looks like they did them in 06, 07, 09 and 11 so there may not be one for last year.

Charting Outcomes is only released every other year. Current cycle will be the next one released.

Agreed. Although honestly, I think off shore med schools should be done away with. I'm not going to get into the politics of this, but the medical system should be reserved first and foremost for American grads imo. I'll leave it at that.

Also, I noticed that there are a number of med students on the NRMP board. I would *love* to be on this board, I think a number of positive changes could be enacted. How would one get into this board?
