I am interested in Neuro and My wife, who is in my class, is looking at internal med.
Any advice on trying to match through the 2 different matches and at least end up in the same city?

Any advice is really appreciated! 🙂

As far as I know, the nrmp and sfmatch cut their ties together and don't communicate. However, you find out 1st where you will be and then your wife's rank list is due, so you may hopefully be able to game the system that way. Also, If you both interview at similar places, there may be an agreement worked out between the neuro/med depts. much like tends to happen with prelim years and neuro. don't know though, I heard of i couple doing this last year but don't know how it turned out. good luck.
