Hi everyone!
So I'm testing 7/10. Doing dedicated prep now.
I still have to review Biochem ( I just took the class and did well), and have a large gap for Psych/Soc material, as it seems like the Kaplan book is lacking. I also haven't really done CARS prep yet. The reason I say this is because it puts my first FL score into context.
I took my first NS FL yesterday. I plan on doing the 4 FL's the bundle has, along with the all of the AAMC exams and practice questions, as my practice. Am going to review the FL and the mistakes today and tomorrow. I'm dead after that exam , lol, really need to built up that stamina.
My score on NS FL 1 was a 505 ( 127/125/127/126). Is that a decent score to start with? Practically speaking, I wanna break 510, but I aiming, ideally, for a 515+ ( as in, working my hardest to get there, shooting for it, so if I fall lower than that I can still have like a 513 or something).
Is 510+ possible with that score, at this point? I've heard that <510 scores for NS are inflated in that the scale is different, ( for example, 40/59 for C/P is a 127, whereas for AAMC material it's a 126), but since the questions are trickier than AAMC, that doesn't really mean much and the score is pretty accurate for a third part FL ( so I , if I were take AAMC FL 1, now, I should a expect about a 505). I'm not freaking out or anything, I just want input.
Thanks,
