I was interviewed at NSU on 9/23 and told that I would hear back on 10/14. But I've been waiting by the phone and haven't heard anything yet! I tried calling them and was put on hold for 40 minutes before I got frustrated and hung up. Did anyone hear back from them recently or have any information on when we are supposed to hear?

I don't know much about the admissions office this year (because I know they have a bunch of new staff), but last year our admissions office was not stellar. Just keep trying to call if you really want to know. Otherwise, be patient. They work hard to try to get everything done, they are just a bit overworked.

I hope you've heard from Ms. Delia Celeste by now. I was worried too b/c I hadn't received anything. When I called on 10/14 she said they were sending out letters that day. Then she called me yesterday 10/18 and said I'd been accepted! She also said they'd be sending out letters 10/19. I interviewed 9/23. You should be able to check by now on webstar.nova.edu on your status. Good Luck!!
Edit: I just realized we interviewed the same day. Which one were you?

Congrats to you! I received the good news yesterday as well. Based on your location, I think know who you are and I had no doubts you would get in especially after you described how well your interview went. I think we had an awesome interview group. Thanks for your post and congrats again (I'm the dark haired girl from Cali).

it says that to all those who have been accepted. It's just provisionary until you send in your deposit. No worries 🙂

I don't know about that, but there is only one lady that calls all the people who get accepted. She might have missed you or something. But anyways, congratulations!!!

I didn't get a call either. I called to find out and they swore that they called and left a message? I guess someone else thinks that they got into NSU. It happens.

call them. i got my acceptance via phone, when they said i would. if that date has passed you may be missing something, call them.

yeah i called the office and they were surprised that i didnt receive a phone call regarding the acceptance... in any case its done. i recommend calling the office if you interviewed 10/31 or earlier and still have not heard anything; they seem to be very friendly people

Did anyone meet a Gabrial or Gabe in their interview? I would like to know who he is. Is is an admission counselor or...? Hope someone could help me who this is.

Does anyone know a person that I could talk to so If I have any questions I could ask him or her instead of getting different answers from various people and being put on a run ar ound.on a constant basis so I don't have to be put on the run around?

How long does NSU take to contact people after all letters of rec. have been turned in? i'm really anxious about this process.
also, what are my chances? nsu is my top choice. 24Q mcat, 3.94 gpa, good letters of rec, shadowing do's, extracurriculars. thanks all 🙂

If you guys in the process have any specific questions about the school, area, etc.. Let me know via pm and I'll be happy to answer to the best of my ability (even though I'm just an M-1).

To the person with the 24, 3.9something GPA. You will probably get in, as long as you do well in the interview. If you get an interview, they like what they see. At that point the interview is what matters.

I interviewed 4-5 days ago and received my acceptance two days later. The next committee meeting is on Dec 14th. Good luck.
