This is an awesome resource. Thank you!

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I don't think I've ever learned so much from a youtube video!!! Thanks to NSU for providing that video!

at the end of the part 1, he says ask them about the chances/next step in getting into the medical school

is that cool?

"Think of the interview as a first date."

Does that mean I'm supposed to act disinterested but convey interest in other ways? Darn, I didn't know I was supposed to game the Dean of Admissions. JKJK

I thought it was funny how the dude in the first video gesticulated so much!

Overall, great videos!

I dunno about you guys, but I would actually *not* ask this (and in fact I never asked this when I interviewed last year.

It's not like your interviewer knows exactly what your chances are and you don't want to put them in an awkward position, either.

If I had no school-related questions to ask, I asked the interviewer about themselves, what brought them to School X, what they liked about the institution, whether they work with lots of medical students, etc.

yea thats what i thought, i wouldnt be comfy asking that question (who does that at an interview?)

Go sharks!!

Nova is pretty good about the way they treat their students, around finals every semester, they'll put a buffet table thing of free food outside the library, I guess it's the little stuff

After interviews, I often use a line like "I look forward to working with you in the future." or something similar, if applicable. It conveys the same confidence and interest, without being super creepy! haha.

You can also ask about student life, the location, etc.

Pretty good videos. Going to bust this out at FIU.

I asked the interviewers questions, too, sometimes in the middle of the interview. The more interested I was in their replies, the fewer questions they would ask of me and the less stressful the interview would become. Why? I asked questions that I knew would elicit positive feelings. 🙂

Also, most physicians listen more than they speak, so you're emulating physician behavior with this approach.

Thank God for that bit about dressing business-like.

I was gonna wear this...

This was my technique as well.
