Hey-

For those of you that have interviewed at NSU already - have you heard back from them yet about acceptances? I had my interview last Friday and they told us that the Admissions Committee meets twice a month (they had a meeting this past Wednesday), and that we would all know our status by this Friday. So I was wondering if any of you had received a phone call yet? This is making me anxious ...

Thanks

I haven't heard a thing. Will it be a phone call? I haven't been home.
It will be a phone call. I have been waiting all day. I don't know if I can wait any longer.
🙁

I haven't heard anything either...

Now we just wait until the first SDNer gets the call. Then we get annoying and call them like crazy. Good plan?

did you get a call today saying you got in?

They called me this morning - I got in 🙂

Congrats to everyone. I just got the call and I am in. I can't believe I am going to be a D.O.

Sorry I didn't post here earlier, I got the call this morning very early. My congrats to my fellow colleagues who were also accepted, and best luck to the hopefuls. NSU is beautiful!!!

Congratulations@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Nsu Is My First Choice Too! I'm Waiting For My Mcat Scores 🙂

God Bless U All@@@@@@@

got an interview 11/18...wish me luck! (also one of my top choices)

NSU is a money *****... way too populated -- you're prolly looking at 10+ per cadaver (unacceptable)

i still cannot believe how many m1's there are...

agreed, i'd go back in time and go to another school if I could......a lot of kids in my class feel this way. but at the same time i'm sure someone in my class must love this school.

really.did you really not like that school? is it only because of the cadaver issue..and the large class size?...or is it the attendance/dress code policies...plz explain further why you would go back in time and go to another school

So what are the chances of acceptance if you interview early...seems pretty good if 4 people on here have been accepted already. Just curious. Thanks a lot.

if you get an interview..its about 75-80 % acceptance ..based on US news..on last years class i believe..this includes both out of state and instate..and im guessin the % is higher if you apply early...

gpt a call monday, today,
IN BABY!!!
Will be a doctor, sigh of relief here.

Anyways, NSU was great, the meat issue is a problem, but many other schools use 2 groups, and the smallest grp size is 4, here its 7. Not too of a bigy. plus you always have those folks that say, ugh you do it.
The school is really nice, i am probably going to go there. The dean is Awesome.
Fat 'stache.

CONGRATS!!! hopefully i'll see you there fall 06 if i make it in =)

I got the call early in the morning while I was at VCOM interviewing, so Delia left a message to "Please call the admissions office at your earliest convenience." Talk about a pit-in-the-stomach moment. I was accepted 🙂!

Actually, I'm an M-1 now..and there are approx, 5 to a cadaver..and trust me, you wouldn't want any less than that..day after day after day of cutting..there are days that you won't want to. And yes, we ahve a student class of 240 and it will be the same next year..so the cadaver to student ratio will be the same, pending the university can get the same number of cadavers. It's not like they can just grow the bodies, ya know..
