Does anyone know if there is anywhere we can find out how many applicants each school interviews? I know UF interviews a lot of in-state students because they are required to. Does anyone know about Nova, BU, Case, Marquette, NYU, Tufts? I'm sure I'm not the only one that is wondering about this. I have seen statistics on a few school websites, but not all of them. Any help would be appreciated.

which schools have the stats online about number of interviews given? I'm also wondering. ANYONE?

From experience, I know that Case interviews tons. If you get an interview at this school its really nothing to be excited about.

Hmmm... I don't know where you got that information but I heard different. In fact, it states right on their website. In my opinion, that is not "tons". My feeling is that if you got an interview that's not for waitlist (which I'll call priority list), you have a pretty darn good chance. Assuming Case accepts about 3 times the amount of seats available (seats available=70) then they will accept 210 applicants. If they interviewed 357 and 210 were accepted, then that leaves us with 147 that were not accepted. From those 147 people, I'd say maybe 50 were interviews for the "waitlist". So, that leaves us with roughly 100 people that were denied from the "priority" list. Giving a percentage of about 67% (210/310) of those who interviewed for "priority" list were accepted.

So, I would have to differ on your conclusions that Case interviews tons...and "it's nothing to be excited about" if you do get an interview.

From Website:

Fall 2005 Entering Class:
Positions Available 70
Applicants 2279
Number interviewed 357
Mean GPA 3.43
Mean Science GPA 3.32
Mean DAT Academic Average 18.73
Mean DAT Perceptual Ability 17.92

would you say that on average if you are invited to an interview you have a 40-60% chance of getting in.. so almost like 1 in 2-3 get accepted?

I'd like to know the answer to this, too..

Anyone?

I would say that is true for some schools but definitely not true for others. It just really depends on the schools....

Temple says they accept 40% of all the people they interview. THey interview 3 days a week with like 10 people. That's a LOT of acceptances! 😱
