Number of applications per DO school

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Here's a link to the number of applications per school. Interestingly, ICOM had only 1278 applicants. Which means that about 13% of applicants MATRICULATED into the school. The number of ACCEPTED applicants I would imagine is at least twice as much.

Thanks for posting that...it's an interesting document.

Newest schools get the fewest apps. That's a surprise for me...I thought that the weakest applicants would apply to them in droves.

Weak applicants are often weak at picking schools and overestimate their appworthiness

I’m sure you know this lol

Wow, apps are way way down from when I applied. Even the bad schools were getting 5k a few years ago. My school has its apps cut in half. Poetic justice?
