Number of Schools?

Okay, so I have seen a few of these here lately and wanted to take a stab at it. I have no clue as to how many schools I need to be applying to. My GPA is low (3.25 overall and 3.17 science), but my last 60 hrs is floating right at a 3.85. As far as the DAT goes, 20 AA, 19 TS, and 24 PAT.

So far I have already applied to all three Texas schools (resident), and am looking to apply to:

Creighton
Boston
NYU
Roseman
Louisville
Temple
LECOM
UNLV
and both Midwesterns (Arizona and Illinois)

Is this a sufficient amount? I just want to get in this cycle.

Look alright, but I would remove maryland. It looks like you had it in there with your "safer" options... Why? 😵

Well, probably not. If you were in-state, maybe, but as OOS they probably won't look past your gpa. I think your best shot is what makes up the rest of your list - texas and lot of privates. Texas loves texans a lot more than maryland does xD

What about Western University and Case Western? They both seem like reasonable candidates for your stats. 🙂

they even mention recommendation from dentist to state 30+ shadows were done.

IMO, you should also apply to Buffalo and Temple... both favor upward trends (and you have it with those 60 credits).

I'd also include detroit mercy, and maybe 5 more just to be on the safe side

I did Temple, but are you sure about SUNYB? They have a really high accepted GPA average?

Edit: Also, are there any other schools that really dig those upward swings? lol
