With your stats, you can be selective and save your money. No, it doesn't look bad either way, but I say it never hurts to spread yourself out. If I had your stats I'd apply to 4-7 schools.

Of course, that's assuming you have adequete shadowing and extracurriculars, a decent personal statement and letters of recommendation. Also that you're not a complete gomer and can manage yourself in an interview.
If you're deficient in any of those areas you might want to bump the number a bit.

I have already applied to five schools but I was just going to see what everybody else thought before I applied to any more. I have a lot of volunteer/research/work experience and I'd like to think of myself as being socially capable of handing an interview. Thanks guys!
