nursing schools in orange county

can anyone recommend good schools for me to apply to for rn or a masters program around orange county california? Also, what can I do to get experience, preferably a job, while waiting to for schools to get back to me.

Did you try a simple Google search? Maybe you should direct your question to www.allnurses.com; go to the California section and ask for specific suggestions there. If you already have another degree you may be able to get direction on accelerated programs (since you're asking about master's programs I'm going to take a guess you already have a bachelor's degree in something).

Working as a CNA would give you an idea of what it's like to work in a hospital and might give you a feel for whether you want to go into nursing.

Best of luck in persuing nursing. Be willing to re-locate. Some areas are very tough to get in as a grad, others are eagerly accepting new grads. The Nashville area is currently accepting new grads 😉
