Hi. I am currently applying for a NY general dentistry license after finishing my GPR. Does anyone know how long it takes for NYSED to upload form 4B to their system after receiving it from the program director?

My program director said the form would be sent on July 2. I called NYSED today and they haven't received it.

I recently received my NY Dental license and here’s some info on it:
NYSED doesn’t review application until everything is received.
Once all documents are submitted, processing time takes about 4 weeks.
Submissions are reviewed in batches that occur every week or so depending on the season (graduation season obviously longer intervals between batches)
They are currently reviewing submissions from 7/1/2025 (you can check which batch they are reviewing with this link: NYS Dentistry)

So if your PD submitted on July 2nd, you just missed the submission review and would most likely wait at least 4 weeks from the date they presented.

I received my license about 5 weeks after they posted the date.

They also don’t contact you if you have any missing forms/documents so if you don’t hear anything after 5/6 weeks I would contact them. Best of luck
