Hello,
Ive been confused about this for a while, and I might have my information mixed up so hopefully someone can clear it up for me.
In New York, residency is mandatory. I also heard that if you don't take the boards, you can only practice in NY.
So if for example I attend a dental school in NY and take the boards, does that mean that I cannot start working anywhere until I do my residency? Or can I go work in Pennsylvania or NJ or something.
And also, if I go to a dental school somewhere else in the tristate area, does that mean that I cannot work in NY unless I match into a residency?
