Hi there, I was told that there was a $100 fee to put the "i" in your license so employers can see that you are an immunizer. Though I thought all schools in NY now require immunizing as part of the curriculum and that getting licensed will automatically give you the "I". Any one know anything about this? NOt sure if I need to pay the $100 since I was just newly licensed. FYI, how long does it take for me to get my license number..its not listed NY's OPD and its been a few days.

Getting licensed by a NY school is the same as other schools. No free "i". And it took me about a week or two to get my license #.

It takes about 2 weeks for your license number to be posted, and to be recognized by NYS that you are an Immunizer, you must submit the Immunization form (yes, you need to pay $100 however I heard Walgreens interns get that fee paid for by the company. also it needs to be notarized and you must attach a copy of your SIGNED CPR card, further instructions will be on the form). Without doing the above you will not be able to immunize legally.
