Anyone know if they got off probation? they were supposed to have a site visit about a month ago according to the ACGME.... How long does it usually take for the ACGME to make their decision?

The fact they were on probation should say it all. If you are worried about getting in at all then apply (it doesn't cost much), you will obviously find out much more if you interview there. But, in general I would use extreme cation with any place recently on probation

yeah i know.. but beggars can't be choosers. Freida says they're accepting ERAS applicants for 2010 so i guess they're off probation...

According to ACGME, their current status is still probation. Although, it looks like they were reviewed on 5/6/2009, so I guess they didn't update it yet. Not sure what the result will be.

Just click on "accredited program history" on the left under search and then choose any program you like. It gives every US programs status and even tells you if they recently changed program directors and who they are. Good website.
