Any one from licensed in NY? I need help reviewing the laws on controls.. Plz comment on anything you think I should know. Also with NY medicare.. I heard rph can only dispense a box of 100 test stripes...for 30 days supply.. is that true?? Thanks guys.

Well, 2014 was before NY went all eRx's. So, I think the lawbook there might be a little out of sync with current laws.

Good luck, New York has a lot of unique laws and regulations compared to more "standard" states. I didn't read anything about Medicare requiring a pharmacist to dispense 100 strips as a 30 day supply. The control laws are pretty straight forward. I did the majority of my studying for the NY MPJE by reviewing their laws on the board website (NYS Pharmacy:Laws, Rules & Regulations:Article 137) and the NABP Pharmacy Law Survey.
