i am currently a PGY-1 at a solid university-affiliated program located about 25 miles outside of manhattan and am looking for a university-based program in or near a major metropolitan area, preferably in the northeast, but am open to other areas.

my PD is aware and fully supportive of my plan.

I'm trying not to get excited, but this could work, I have also discussed swapping to another local with the PD and have the full support of the program.. If you are looking to live in a major city, the middle of Manhattan should work.
