So does anyone know the approximate stats? does nycom invite a lot of people for interview, and how many interviewees are accepted? i'm just being a paranoid pre-med and wondering what my chances are. I have an interview with them in november. Thanks!!

your stats are very good for DO schools including NYCOM. You are in the FIRST interview group so it is almost irrelevant how many people will interview at NYCOM. Hopefully you will get an acceptance before the end of the year and can start deciding if NYCOM is the best school for you.

NYCOM usually starts interviews 2 months after most schools do
NYCOM usually interviews beyond March
NYCOM has an incoming class of about 260 students (not including another 40 in the Emigre program)

Those are the stats for NYCOM. UNDMJ-SOM only accepts 90 people per year total.

I fixed it. First time I posted NJ by accident, and I kept thinking, "Wow, I thought only NJ had 100 percent in-state enrollment!" Duh. 😳
That's what I get for doing 3 things at once!!
