Does NYCOM require applicants to submit high school transcripts? I've read this on studentdoctor.com and was wondering if anyone can confirm this.

Thank you!

The only transcripts you are required to submit are for college courses, and these go to AACOMAS, not to NYCOM or any other osteopathic school directly.

The only reason I could think of where NYCOM would require you to send a HS transcript would be for their BS/DO program, and even then you'd primarily be going through NYIT and not NYCOM.

Hope this helps.

The above poster is correct...the H.S. transcript is in regards to the BS/DO program...but it is never actually sent to NYCOM. NYIT makes the decision as to whether you get into the program...and maybe an individual from NYCOM if they interview you.
