Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone knows some information on NYCOM's HCOP program. I got a call from them recently saying that I have been pre-selected and they want to verify that I am economically disadvantaged by faxing over my parent's tax returns from 2008-2010 showing I'm a dependent. How strict are they? I am not on my parent's 2010 tax returns, but I do live with my parents and contributed to paying for 3 of my sister's college education. Do you think I can make that case or will they be unforgiving?
I really don't want to miss this opportunity as I have a 3.5 gpa and a 23 mcat score (highest of 3 tests) and really fear that I won't be able to get into anywhere. It'll be nice to have this to fall back on if i really don't hear back from any other school.
