anyone interviewing on Dec 6???

december 12th for me! 🙂

Jan 9th over here!!!

Interviewd the 28th... its a really nice school and the people showing me around were cool. They have the PBL (which they called DPC) and Lecture based learning styles, which I didn't know.

My interview was 1 PhD in Neuroscience and 2 Neuroscience Fellows. I think the other interviewer was a PhD in Anatomy.

Good luck.

interviewed today
i had a lady, MD/phD
she was tough and confused, it was clear that she was looking at my application for the first time in her life
good luck to all of you

I am interviewing on Jan 17th! Long wait till then...I wish it were sooner 😛

January 24th over here...what are everyones plans to get there and (if you are) hotels?

East Norwich Inn is real close and it was nice.

One of my interview questions: "What is a urologist?"

The area where the school is located is really residential, just a bunch of private houses. It's also a rich area, so if there is a hotel around there, it will probably be really expensive. I would look into neighboring areas, like in Queens...🙂

The East Norwich Inn is ~ 5 miles from the school on the same road, and they do an interview discount. Not sure how much exactly, but call them and ask.
I posted a longer answer to this in the other NYCOM discussion thread

Hi,
is there anyone who has an interview on the feb 14 - noon.

I have only been to LECOM interview. So I am kind of nervous about this one... I don't know what to expect.

And also is there a parking place for the interviewers there?

I interviewed there in December. Definitely no need to be nervous about this one, it's pretty laid-back and straightforward. This was my 3rd interview so I didn't practice at all and apparently it went well. Just as long as you can talk about your activities on your application and your interest in medicine in general and osteopathic medicine specifically, you'll be fine. I haven't heard of anyone being asked any random "out there" questions or anything ethical, but check the interview feedback section just to be sure.

Good luck😀

There is a huge parking lot right by the NYCOM buildings. Don't be nervous, it's very laid back.

The interview I attended was well organized, the students were friendly and the interview was pretty much like a regular conversation, it didn't feel like a question/ answer testing session. You will be fine, don't worry about it.

Thanks for the reply guys...

Do you know if NYCOM usually accepts most of the instate students who they interview?

February 21st. Flying in and out in the same day
