Hey guys,
Just wondering...has anyone gotten an invite from NYCOM or UMDNJ recently? Everytime I call UMDNJ-SOM they say my application is on hold and a decision has not been made yet! I dont know what to think....I've already sent in a letter of intent...and 2 additional reccs...except when I called them they said they hadnt received the reccs (even though it has been 2 months since i sent them). I dont know wahts going on! Any suggestions? Should I go to the open house? Is it worth it? I tried scheduling an appt with Paula Watkins...but she is not scheduling any right now.

And NYCOM - I don't know whats going on with them! Any suggestions? I did the same - sent a letter of intent and 2 reccs. And they don't tell statuses over the phone....

ANy advice would be helpful...i alreadyg ot in soemwhere else and paid the deposit - but I really want to go to one of these two schools!!

I applied to both NYCOM and UMDNJ. No word from NYCOM. I am not expecting anything from NYCOM at this point. UMDNJ class is full. I did have an interview at UMDNJ. The last interview cycle is going to be in May. From now on, people will be interivewing for wait list positions, but I could be wrong on this issue.

Yeah, NYCOM people don't even pretend to care about your status. You are just an applicant just like everyone else. I interviewed just 6 weeks ago and no ne has still bothered to tell me where I stand and when I call all they say is "it's with the committee"-like that helps!
The only piece of advice I can give is that they send you an email if your file is incomplete and when i was intervewing some people were missing some of their info and were told that no final decision can be made until everything is in. Also it really depends which secretary you get on the phone I had one which I convinced to actually get her lazy ass up and look up my status on the computer. So keep calling and you might get lucky and someone will look it up for u
