Interviewed 1/25, waitlisted. 3.34 and 29 MCAT, 3.92 unofficial postbac gpa. Seems quite a few people with high stats have gotten waitlisted too, especially for later applicants. Anyone have any more information about the process, priority lists, when we can hear back, what we can do to improve our odds (writing a LOI), et cetera?

Alot more rejections/waitlists happen towards the end of the cycle, even with people with high stats, just how it is with rolling admissions. Not sure if NYCOM "officially ranks" their waitlist, but hopefully you should start hearing something when the last deposit deadlines pass. Maybe check out the school-specific discussion to get an idea of what those dates are. Also, it wouldn't hurt to draft up an LOI and get ready to either strengthen your app or apply next cycle.
