Why are the averages so low and the applicant numbers so high? I do understand its the only DO school in New York but is there anything wrong with it. It seems like a good school for more qualified students?

Huh? The average MCAT at NYCOM is now around a 26 with a gpa of 3.5. I think these numbers are a bit higher than some D.O. schools. Where do you get your averages?

Agreed. We were told at the begining of the year that our class had an average MCAT score of 26, and an average GPA of 3.5.
