Was wondering who will be attending NYCPM (sept. 2009)?
i just got accepted but still unsure. i'm waiting on decisions from scholl and temple before i make anything definite

Well good luck with the other schools. Let me know if you decide on nycpm, I'd like to meet some others who will be attending.

I just applied and I really hope I get it, still waiting to hear back from Lisa Lee about the interview. Right now it's my number one choice. Hope everything goes well and I can join you next year ! 🙂

I'm sure you will hear back soon...I hear it takes about 1 to 2 weeks. Good luck, let me know what happens! 😀

NYCPM class of 2013 BABYY!!!

Nice! congratulations on your acceptance! I just called and paid for my deposit so I am definitely there! NYCPM 2013!!!

Did you decide on where you are going to live? I think i'm choosing Parkchester! I didn't actually get to see it during my interview but found it online: parkchesternyc.com. Students are in the premier apartments!

Anyhow, congrats again! :hardy:😀

I've stayed in an NYCPM parkchester apartment. Nice place and fully furnished. Premier? Idk about that though! In parkchester, every building looks the same. The area seemed pretty decent overall (better than where the school is located).

Just to help out, my buddy had like a 10 - 12 minute walk to the subway station then 15 minutes on the express train to get to NYCPM from P-chester housing.

Hey JEWmongous, thanks for the info about the walk! I thought it was closer to the station than that. I guess at Parkchester there are two different styles of apartments, the "traditional or Premier collection" according to the school they put students in the Premier collection.

I'm coming from California and completely new to NYC. I absolutely have NO CLUE where to live. I think i'm going to do the "safe" thing and live in student housing for the first year and move to better accomodations when I know more about the city.

Are you still living at Parkchester? any other suggestions?

Thanks

premier is more like the bridges, google search bridges nyc condo... lisa lee was saying this is their newest student housing option.

Good luck guys!!! I am sure you guys will have fun. 😉

Hey man hope your well! I have a friend (1st year) who lives at bridges. This place is REALLY nice, just REALLY expensive. She has the larger room with a private bath and i think the rent is $1300 plus per month. The amenities are great, central air/heat, hard wood floors, washer/dryer in the unit, secure building, new appliances plus its like a 2 minute walk to school. Its really a great place, just expensive. 😀

Hey..I'll be attending too, but i'll be commuting everyday.
