Hi there,

I got an email from NYIT last Friday for an interview on January 17, 2017.

Would like to know if anyone here got an email as well !!

Wow! Lucky you. Are they a lot of people on the day of your interview?

Should I prepare for anything particularly?

Thanks! There were about 12 people there in a conference room. Two professors presented a power point then took us one by one for a brief interview then switched so we were all interviewed by two people. We had plenty of time then to write two short essays. Im not sure if they always use the same topics though.

They asked what research I was interested in which kind of threw me off. They also asked quite a few hypothetical ethical questions.

Thank you so much, this is really helpful. I have been looking over on many interview question and i get really nervous about how to answer as well as writing essay because English language is not my first language.

So I guess I have to keep practice more about writing and how to answer those types of questions.

do you mean the 2nd part was a group interview or that we had 2 one-on-one interviews with seperate people?

oh, no group interviews. We just got called into 2 separate one-on-one interviews
