I currently have deposits down at both of these schools. I am feeling very torn, so any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure what I want to specialize in, but at the moment I don't really see myself going into family medicine. It seems there is a general consensus that you can choose whichever reputable DO school you like best. However, if I end up wanting to go into a more competitive specialty, I don't want to hinder my chances because I prioritized location over academic factors.

- Want to end up in the Northeast long-term, lots of residencies in the area
- COL is very high in Old Westbury
- Students complain about unfair remediation issues
- Slightly worse COMLEX pass rates

- One of the best DO schools in the country, great reputation
- Impressive DO match list
- Low COL
- Very far from home
