Has anyone heard from NYU recently?

I interviewed about a month ago and I've still not heard a word. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat? Last I heard, they were trying to finalize the AP class...

hey, i interviewed a month ago and i called them several times to check my application status. quite a few times i was told "a decision has not been made" except for one time they said that a decision was made on the 22nd feb. and i should be receiving something in the mail. i havent received anything yet. i get a different answer everytime i call them. but i think, itz most likely a rejection for me since my interview did not go that well. and last week i got this answer over the phone: "we cannot tell u over the phone. ur application status has been mailed to u and should arrive shortly." yeah, thatz a rejection for sure 🙁 .

There are several people who have gotten in without an interview this year; however, this is given to those who applied early in the cycle. NYUCD spots are pretty much filled and any decision now is either going to be a waitlist or rejection.

I was waitlisted a long while ago. To cover my arse, I placed a deposit at one other school, and waiting to be taken off the waitlist at a few others. I did find it amusing that despite being a NY resident, I've had far greater luck at other state schools. Bah.
