NYU Class 2017 orientation

I've been accepted to the DPT program at NYU, so excited! but i have some questions regarding their orientation. I see in the website the orientation is January 28th (is this right?), however the deadline date to accept their admission offer is the Feb 14. I am still waiting on UF, and I would like to know if this orientation is mandatory or not since I live in Florida. I would appreciate some feedback. Thank you!!!!

hey np204, this question might be off tangent but can you tell me whether you took calculus based physics for physics majors or regular physics for health science majors? Also, when did you hear about your acceptance?? Congrats!!!

Hey julezgirl1; its fine we are here to help each other. I took regular physics 1 and 2 without calculus and I received my acceptance letter December 15.

How soon after your interview did they release your acceptance? As far as orientation for NYU - I know that they're still interviewing so it seems unlikely that their orientation would be later this month but I am not sure. Good luck with your UF application!

Hey Futurept123; Thank you!! I am very excited 🙂. I had my interview December 7 and received my acceptance letter by email December 15. At the interview I had the chance to talk to a couple of the current students and they told me that if you get an interview, you are most likely to get accepted. You will get accepted!

I had my interview Dec 7 and let me clarify now that I went back to check my email; I received the acceptance letter Dec 18. Oh okay I tried calling today to ask but they didn't pick up, once i find out I'll let you know!!

Hey @FuturePT @julezgirl1 , I would like to know if you will be attending to NYU and how is the process going. There is an open forum for NYU DPT class 2017, if you are interested 🙂. I found out orientation is April 4!
