NYU closing down 3yr program?

I just found out that NYU is going to close their 3 year foreigh dentist program next cycle and add their seats to ours..They going to have to do 4 years too..Does that mean that now we have more competition to get accepted? Since they have MORE experience...I am in shock....

No, I am pretty sure the competition will be essentially the same. They will be accepting the same number of international students one year earlier. The domestic student number will not change. This is just what I've heard.. someone can correct me if they heard otherwise.

As long as there are more seats available for predents then its perfect for ME!! So sad that foreight dentists are going to be starting from the begining...and most likely YEA more $$$ for school..i am praying that not too many foreign dentist will apply to NYU and that they will have no choice but to accept more regular students
