NYU- Deadline Mar.1 Any point in still applying?

I asked myself that same question in mid January. People told me that it would have been a waste of money b/c it was to late in the cycle (3.25 GPA and 21/21/23 DAT). The choice to send them an application is entirely up to you, but I'm not so sure that you can get all of that stuff to them in 3 days.............let alone gain an acceptance. What ever you do, I would reccomend planning for the next cycle just in case you don't get in this year. good luck

Dental schools accept people on a rolling admissions process, so even though Mar. 1 is their deadline, you have an extremely low chance of getting since you are applying so late. Your stats are solid, but it's too late now.

Don't listen to these people. They don't know what the hell they're talkign about. If you have rock solid stats you can still apply. A friend of mine (class of 09) applied in March... interviewed in APRIL, got in fine.

Just go ahead and apply, can't hurt and it's definitely not too late.

I didn't want to come off sounding so pessimisstic, so I'm sorry if I did. You obviously have a greater chance of getting in you apply versus if you don't, so in that sense you should go ahead and do it. But all I'm trying to say is that applying in March doesn't necessarily mean they'll look at your app right away. They will be reviewing all the apps before they received your's so the chances become much lower...that's all I was trying to get at.

It's definitely super late and the likelihood of getting accepted it pretty low, but a chance is still a chance. If you don't apply, there's a 100% you won't be accepted. However, your stats look good and if you apply early next cycle, I bet you'll get into multiple places.
