Hey does anyone know how long the NYU interview is?/what is planned out for the interview day?

From 8 till the afternoon. First interview, then tour of the facilities, then lunch.

It seems so short. . . Hopefully I didn't leave too early. . .

Probably around 1 or 2. I don't remember exactly and I didn't check the time.

who do you tour the facilities and have lunch with?

A 4th year dental student lead the tour. I had lunch with other applicants at NYUs sub-level cafeteria

I was out of there by 1330ish.

yes 1330 is the same as 130. you get use to 24hr time in dental/med school.

Anyone who went to the interview of NYU, can you tell me approximately the percentage of interviewees who brought along a family member? Would it be too weird? I'm planning on taking my sis since she's interested in dentistry too (good chance for her to tour a dental school) but i'm sure the staff at NYU will not know that...they might think i'm some kind of baby that needs big sis to take care of me

As far as I remember I do not recall seeing fellow applicants bringing in a family member, at least during the tour and the interview process. However, I don't see anything wrong with bringing in your sister. Parents, gf, bf are a different issue.
