NYU interview

For those of you who had the NYU interview, how was it? What questions did they ask you?

Also around what time did it finish? (it says in the email "Please plan to spend one half-day with us") I need to start making flight arrangements.

We were done around 12:15 ish

I am glad to hear it was laid back. I have an interview at the end of this month, and I hope questions are not that different from what I saw on the feedback section of this forum.

they are not different at all...that's one place I checked out before I went in...
I was barely asked any questions..it really was more like a conversation...which, in a way, kept me nervous somewhat...cuz i kept thinking...is there a correct answer to these questions? lol

Very very laid back interview...asked questions straight off my application and the common "why dentistry" one. Ended around 12:30 after lunch.

The interview started at 8:00 am, and I was so suprised that they finished all interview around 9:30 a.m.

maybe what he meant is that the whole day ended at around 12:30...
they interviewed all the students who were there at that day from 8 till 9 and then we had a Q/A session then a tour followed by a lunch that ended at around 12ish

I asked that when I called them. They told me that they usually interview about 12 people each day. NYU offers interviews except Wednesdays so that makes sense.

btw what are the chances to acceptance after the interview? (based on stats, it seems that they still reject about 100 people...)
