Hi guys.
I just received interview invitation from NYU.
They said they will provide a supplementary application to complete when I arrive to our office for your interview.
What does it mean?
Does it mean that we have to complete it on the interview day?
Or do we just receive the application and complete it later and send it
to them later..
If anybody who went for an interview.. please give me some clues 🙂
Thank you!

i just got one and scheduled on 10/13.
also wondering what the supplement application is.

It's essentially nothing. An info sheet. Contact information and a couple questions about where else you have applied and where you stand with those schools. Don't sweat it it takes like 5 minutes max.

i heard there is like three questions they ask. check out the threads by searching through the feedback sections.

they ask basic info as the poster above said. I had my nyu interview yesterday. Its basically a sheet which the picture u bring in is attached and a place for name address phone number etc. Also 4 slots for other schools applied. You fill it out while your waiting to be called in for your interview.

when was your app. submitted? Where is my NYU interview???

Just received an invitation to interview today...anyone got a stat from last year with regards to what kind of shot we have of getting accepted after the interview??

Hey, for the people who got NYU interviews, how much time was there between when you got the email saying your app was complete and the email for the interview invite?

I heard some students were accepted at NYU without even going through an interview.

Is that even possible?
Why not? UOP has acceptance rate of 99.9% So when do you think they get to decide to accept you- before they invite you or after interview?
NYU was/ is? am not sure about this year/ school that granted admissions to some students without interview.
Until 2 years ago Creighton did not required interview to be accepted. You did have opportunity to schedule one but it was very informal.

pah. one day. but i think it's because they screwed up... i paid my app fee in JULY and lost it, so i had to provide documentation showing they cashed it. 2 weeks later (yesterday) i get an 'app complete' and got the interview today.

I just came back from my interview this afternoon at nyu. I was genuinely impressed with the facilities and the faculty. everyone was really nice and willing to answer any questions that i had. it was a completely stress-free interview and very personal. don' sweat it and just be yourself!

does anyone know if we can bring along family for the day (after the interview ofcourse)

Sure you can! I did! Just ask Dr. Mejia before! They waited for me at the lobby while I interviewed and after everyone was done with theirs and we had the Q & A my aunt and boyfriend joined me for the tour!

Good luck!

Hey guys,

So my mom is coming along with me to the NYU interview in a couple of weeks. I was wondering, is there a lot of walking/stairs on the tour?

Also, what time were you released? The invitation says "half a day", but we'll be flying out that night, and I'm buying tickets today/tomorrow.

Please let me know! Thanks a bunch!

Yes, unfortunately there will be some stairs. The interview ends at about 1, but you may wish to leave earlier than that since the last thing they do is feeding you.

Thank you so much for the quick response. I appreciate it!

NYU has a 7 year dental program that you can apply to straight out of high school; admissions to the dental program is contingent on a certain undergraduate GPA and DAT scores. So yes, theoretically, students are "accepted" into NYU without an interview if they come from that program.

My interview ended closer to 2.

If you choose to wear heels, hope you break them in before the tour! We were marching up and down stairs, through corridors and hallways... Most of the girls in our group (including me) were all trying to keep our faces composed, but man, the guys could totally tell that we were dying in our heels. One girl was smart enough to bring extra shoes to change into before the tour. (they give you a few minutes to change into them)
