Fellow NYUCOD d1s,

I know that Orientation week starts Aug 21.

But where are we goin to live for the week? The dorms?

Or should we have moved into the city by then, whether it be in the dorms or our own apartments?

And any d2s+ out there, what do u guys do during the orientation? Just party and celebrate?

Anyone know?

I'm planning on being moved in by the first week of August...well, I know that we'll be receiving our vitalbooks during orientation...i have no idea what else...

orientation is really really boring and more or less serves as a chance to meet your fellow classmates. You don't do much during that time, but the whole boringness of it does give everyone a common chance and opportunity to gripe together.... and yes, ample time for parties.

I got my official acceptance letter today and here's what it says about what will be going on during orientation:

"During Orientation, which occurs in late August, you will meet the faculty, your mentor and the administration of the College. You will recive your locker assignment, class schedule, student ID, white coat and other material necessary to begin the academic program. There will also be a number of social gatherings to help you get acquainted with your fellow students and other members of the academic community."
