NYU Student Loans!

I will be attending NYU this Fall. I have been searching for loans on the NYU website; which has Citibank and Nellie/Sallie Mae as the two institutions with the best rates and fees. What have current NYU Dental Students and next year's entering Dental Students doing about this??? Can anyone share their experience. Which one is better to take out and why?? Thanks I would much appreciate it

both are the same. I hate citibank with a passion (ex-employee) and know how dirty they are, so I went for sallie mae

They offer private loans at prime minus 1%...so currently 3%. Also the private loan is no fee, but the gov't loans through sallie mae have a fee. Citibank offer to NYUCD students is the same.

This time around I'm gonna try to do access group for federal and sallie mae for private. This way I will not have to pay any fees

In essence both are the same, so look at pay back options. But from what I remember they are the same also

ACCESS has no fees for federal loans.
