So i will be attending NYUCD this fall and was wondering when we are supposed to apply for student loans. Does anybody know anything in regards to this matter? Also what are the recommended loans to take? All feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

dont they happen thru fafsa?

No FAFSA only provides students with "financial aid" not student loans. Im referring specifically to the loans.

It's considered "financial aid" by receiving a portion of subsidized loans...the interviews I went to only referred to FAFSA when mentioning how to obtain student loans

Students loan is part of financial aide. You fill out FAFSA, the schools crunch some numbers and send you a little paper where you can check off which loans/grants you want. Loans and grants are all on that same paper.
