did you guys get any info from nyu regarding signing up for classes or getting your NetID? my dental hygiene friend has set up her id already and signed up for classes..i cant even check the status of housing without my netid..?

i have received nothing about signing up for classes. i did set up my email address however. is that the same as the net id?

I did it all on my own before I started last year. One day I was bored and set it all up. I forget how it was done. Goto http://home.nyu.edu and there are instructions how to activate your acct. Your email address is your net id. so if your email is [email protected], your net id will be xx345

Should have done that already via torch tone. My brother registered in june before his freshman year. Just call the number (no clue what it is) and you get registered. Call the school for the number if you lost the letter they send out.

We should all already be registered, which is done via Torchtone. If you're not, then you should phone 'em up and see whats goin' on. But the registering is done not one by one, you just go on there, and they register you for the whole block of courses for the first term.
