NYU vs Tufts (No recent threads found)

I have been accepted to, and placed a deposit with NYU.

Today I was accepted to Tufts off the wait list.

I am asking the SDN community for thoughts on Tufts vs NYU. In any responses, please disregard any consideration of the deposit I've already sent to NYU, as this decision will impact (basically) my entire life etc.

Based on rankings I've found on the Internet, NYU seems to typically be ranked higher than Tufts. What are some thoughts from everyone else on SDN?

Also, I know tufts is slightly less expensive and has a smaller classes size. Additionally, I searched for older threads on this topic, but I didn't find anything newer than 2012.

@GSUgrad23 i would say go with the cheaper school, but since cost is relatively the same go where you feel more comfortable. PM me if you have questions about NYU

Congrats! You are in a very enviable position many would say. I heard Tufts is a great school. I am actually on the waitlist at NYU and if I get accepted I still may choose not to go there due to costs and personal stuff I have going on. I heard Tufts is somewhat cheaper overall (especially for the area) and I know someone who was in a very similar situation to you (also had BU as an option) and ended up choosing Tufts and said he loves every bit of it there as it had a more family feel for him! I may be applying there for the next class!
