I'm having a hard time for some reason, deciding among these schools. Let's pretend that money is not a factor, due to the military scholarship..
Here is the real issue--It's starting to come down to the fact that I want to live somewhere different North Carolina, as well as I think I would most likely want to specialize. Any opinions? Just opinions if you were in my shoes.
Oh, and I do not mind the cold.

UNC=my state school...great quality program
NYU-love the city, have extended family in NYC
UoP-3 years, love San Francisco
Tufts-don't know much about Boston, but had a great feeling about the school

If you have a miliatry scholarship, UoP due to one year less active duty payback
Iv'e heard this from people many times. But an actual representative told me that you actually have to pay off 4 years even though it's a 3 year program "because there are 4 payment." Does anyone have any confirmations as to which one is correct? (not trying to thread jack but this has been bothering me...haha)

Several of my classmates are only paying back 3 years. Perhaps you need to get a new recruiter?

Thanks for the confirmation. I wasn't entire sure if she knew what she was talking about, she did look a little hesitant.

and now back to the thread, I would pick UNC seeing as it's your state school and it should be the cheapest? Otherwise, I would pick Pacific (although I do have a bit of a bias... haha).

Hmmm... the FA coordinator from UOP, as of a couple of weeks ago, wasn't sure what the repayment option was. Apparently, some of the students are paying back 3 years, some are paying 4 years. Seems like there's some variability depending on the military branch.

From what I've heard from my recruiter and some of those on the scholarship at UoP when I was there the other day, they are all paying back 3 years.
