I interview in early Nov. I really hoped I'd get in too. From what i hear, they'll most likely notify people around Jan 15 when the second round of acceptances go out. Now I don't know if we are ranked and whether or not we would get priority over the 2nd rounders. If someone knows more and knows some stats on waitlisting such as the # / % of interviewed students get wait listed and what % would end up getting in, please be kind and share with us 🙂
My best guess is that gettting waitlisted during the first round means you have a good chance of getting an opening in the future since there would be alot of accepted students who decline their offers. Also since you were interviewed during the first round, you would still be fairly competative again any future students they interview. So hopefully (knock on wood) it's just a matter of time before the acceptance letter comes. Luck~~
