O-Chem 2 for Optometry School

How useful and what are the benefits of taking o-chem 2? Most of the schools I am looking at it is not a pre-req. Thanks.

It all depends on how your university sections out the Orgo 1 and 2 topics, but for my school, A LOT of the material I had to study for the OAT was in Orgo 2. It's hard to say how it will benefit me in school, but it definitely helped for that test specifically.
