hey guys,
I've been studying O-chem for the dat, and I am wondering how much depth I should go into for certain topics. For many functional group reactions, do I really need to know each step within mechanisms? I did not memorize/study the mechanisms for many functional groups. However, I pretty much can predict the products based on reactants. I also have a good understanding of SN1, SN2, E1 and E2. For those of you who took the DAT, I would really appreciate your advice. Thank you!
