Hi,

I'm trying to do the oasis trick for my Step 2CS exam. When I try to re-register for the exam, it doesn't actually say I passed it, it just says in red letters:

Our records indicate that you are already registered for this Step or Step Component. You may not apply for a Step or Step Component if you are already registered for that Step or Step Component. If you fail or do not complete a Step or Step Component, you may submit another application for this exam, but certain time limits apply when retaking a Step or Step Component.

Does this mean I passed, or just that I have already registered for the exam?? I completed the exam mid-June 2007.

Confused.

It just means that you have already registered for the exam. You have to wait till your score gets reported for the "trick" to work. Once it's reported, you try to apply for CS again. If you passed, you will see a message in red letters saying that you have already passed this step component and can't register for it again.

I have not taken the CS yet, but I believe it takes almost 3 months from your test date for scores to be reported. 👎
