For everyone who has already taken the OAT: how much of the physics/gchem sections are calculation based? And would you say that questions are more theoretical or calculation based?

Thanks! 😀

well there are both for both. you only get a calc for the math section, and its on the computer.

but for gchem and physics its really easy math like 5x2=10 or something or if its more complicated then its just set up

a) (5234)(3423)/5
b)5/(5234)(3423)

like that

Ohhhhh so you don't actually have to CALCULATE answers as numerical values? Do they ever give you questions in gchem/physics where the answer isn't set up for you in a formula? And if yes, I'm guessing that's only the case if it's an easy calculation right?
