What section on the OAT are we allowed to use a calculator?

I am going through my OAT book and I am on the physics section, but I am having trouble doing some of those calculations by hand 🙁 For example doing things such as 100 cos 30 degrees (100 cos square root 3/2) but I am having trouble calculating that! As well as things such as the square root of 800, which is equal to 20 root 2,but how do I find the approximate decimal without a calculator? What is the method? Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!!!

I believe you only get the calculator in the QR section.
For physics and chem, they won't make you solve difficult calculations. They are more likely to give it to you as an answer choice, like: a.) 10 cos 30 b.) 10sin30 etc.

When I was studying, I had to learn a bunch of tricks to do math quickly - you may want to look into that because it is timed!

Thank you both for the advice! I really do hope it's going to be like that because I have no idea how to do those :/ Where and how did you learn the tricks for doing the math quickly?
