Has anyone information on the content of the exam changing? June 1st 2006 is the last anyone can take the exam, most schools have earlier dates around February and March, for entry into school for Fall 2006. Does this mean the OAT people put out a new test bank of questions/exam after this date? Did they do this with the written tests and if so are they doing it with the computerized version now? So...if I take the exam June 23 2006 for entry into school for FAll 2007 will I be at a disdavantage cause they will just have modified the test bank of questions/exam?

any thoughts?

With only the computerized OAT available to take, the test centers will probably store several sets of tests in the server to be re-used for quite a while. Each set of exams will have its own percentile trend derived from performances of candidates sitting for this particular OAT, but it should not vary much from one exam to the others. Bearing in mind that no two tests can be set at equal level of difficulties, I believe we should all give our best shots no matter what come up and let the established/fair statistical facts take care of the rest. In another words, someone felt he had done poorly might still end up getting appreciable scores, whereas another student taking another set would probably get a lower scores than expected even he felt the test to be a lot easier than he'd thought.

any others thoughts?

so I should be fine if I take it after June 1st and not have to worry about the OAT people putting out whole new OAT versions to deal with? What I mean is I've heard that prep companies like Kaplan will have people take the OAT so that they know how to prep students in taking the OAT. Then the OAT people will subsequently come out with "new test stuff" so that Kaplan (or any other company) can't really give their students to many clues on how to teach their students to ace the OAT. ???
