i completed my test today these are my scores:
QR-400
RC-400
BIO-370
GC-380
OC-390
PHY-370
TS-390
AA-400
i just wanted to thank everyone for posting their advice and experience onto this forum, as it has helped me immensely. my advice to anyone writing the OAT in the next cpl of weeks would be to NOT freak out. i had only completed a half year course in OC in school but it was not that hard at all..its just a lot of common stuff like elimination reactions SN2 SN1 etc. reading was easyyyy...the passages were quite simple and even though i was freaking out at home because I could never finish them in time, i had over 15 minutes to spare for that section. and all that i did was study the big kaplan book and solve the tests from the kaplan test book which is available in any bookstore...i know a lot of ppl were recommending buying the oat destroyer and i thought that i was at a disadvantage because i didn't have one, but honestly, all the material is covered in the big kaplan book. i didnt even take the course because my friend told me it wasn't worth it. so if you can get your hands on the book, and buy the 30$ test book, its more than enough. just thought i'd let everyone know that its not that bad..and once its over with, its actually PRETTY sweet.

Congrats! Those are amazing scores. I am taking mine this Friday so I was a bit nervous until I read that the practice exams are harder for a reason.. they really help to prepare you. I am still nervous about the physics section, and if the questions are anything like the ones from the little Kaplan ($30) book then I may be in trouble.

Congrats! Those are amazing scores. I am taking mine this Friday so I was a bit nervous until I read that the practice exams are harder for a reason.. they really help to prepare you. I am still nervous about the physics section, and if the questions are anything like the ones from the little Kaplan ($30) book then I may be in trouble.

hehe..the physics part is not that bad..i know what u mean about the kaplan test book, because i bought the book around 3 days before my test and i was FREAKING out coz it was sooo hard and i was getting every second question wrong..but it wasn't half that bad..actually i think doing all those insanely difficult questions kinda made it easier for me in the end..btw i'm only applying to waterloo coz i live in ontario, so i HAD to do well coz this is the only place im applying to

I am basically the most worried about the reading section and Bio, since I am a slow reader and I heard the bio questions are random, if you studied the right stuff, then you will do well, if you don't then...

bio is quite detailed..but again its not that hard..im guessing rc might be a little more difficult if you're a slow reader but just read the whole passage as quickly as possible while understanding what the passage is trying to say and it will be great. all the best!!!

no..unfortunately you have to get it from someone who has taken the course because they don't sell it on their website or anywhere else. let me know if u're interested in the book because I'm selling mine for $140 (and I will also throw in the Kaplan OAT test book that sells for around $30 for free).
