So I just took the OAT today Feb 16, 2008... I got 380 TS 350 AA... every section was pretty easy except reading and math... reading was hard b/c I just wasnt used to reading on a computer screen and scrolling back and forth.... plus the passages were boring.. blah... and math was ridiculously hard b/c there wasnt enough time to do all the calculations needed.. so i just looked straight at the answers and tried to reason which one was reasonable.. to be honest i picked alot of C's lol... but if u can manage ur time well and get enough sleep the day before u should be fine.. i barely got any sleep and found it hard to focus during these two sections

Hints: For Math, remember the Interest formula.. Organic remember rxn names, bio, chem, and phys were pretty easy

hey, great scores, im retaking mine the 29th of feb. was this your first time taking it? how long did you study? whatd you use? i can use all the help i can get 😀

thanks!:luck:

yup first time takin the exam.. im pretty sure I lucked out alot in math b/c i guessed on alot and reading i didnt do very good in i got 310.. remember to answer all questions lol i didnt finish 3 so i was rattled after that.. math i got 340 in... but yah the sciences were by far the easiest part of the exam... and math was tough and reading was okay but like i said i didnt get the sleep which is key.. which is why i jus napped for 3 hours and woke up now

I graduated in december.. and have been studying for 6 weeks everyday.. Basically each week i reviewed one section.. and the last week was a thorough review of everything.. Oh I used an older Kaplan OAT book (2005) my friend gave me.. it was good.. but there is the odd question that the book doesnt cover and ur left jus saying WTF and guessin on it cuz there is no way u know anything about it.. there was one obscure random question about skin layers.. i donno why Kaplan wouldnt include everything that the OAT could possibly test for... also, in the organic section the book didnt cover diekman's synthesis or Diels-Alder rxn.. but i do remember those from organic class 3 yrs ago and identifed them.. u can also use the process of elimination and remove some of the answers that u know dont correspond to the rxn they give u... But my book was an older version (2005) so maybe they've updated the info.. the book does overprepare u alot (i.e. there are a ton of equations that are given and that the OAT doesnt test for, primarily cause u have no calculator).. but with that being said u should know the theory
