Hi,
i'd appreciate it if someone could maybe help me and tell me how they studied for the oat math section! Its a difficult subject and theres nothing really on the kaplan material to study out of, also i have heard that most of the questions are all word problems. My exams in about ten days. Anything would be helpful thanks 🙂

I heard it is similar to the QR section of the DAT. I would recommend trying to get a hold of the math destroyer. It has a lot of word problems and has 11 test all together.

i thought the math section was similar to the SAT if anything. it didn't really use anything i learned in college, or even senior year high school math.

i wouldn't say it's mostly word problems. maybe 30-40%. but then again, it's a large question pool. you can get lucky or unlucky in terms of how many word problems they pull.

as for help umm.....yeah...math destroyer has a lot. i have a DAT destroyer with 153 QR questions in it (as well as chem/ochem/bio). been trying to sell it for $90. I used the DAT destroyer to help on the OAT. =P
